Every year we facilitate on behalf of our reading community their Qurbani for Eid. It's a unique annual service we do in the spirit of serving our loyal readership.
1 whole goat or sheep will be dedicated in Makkah and distributed to those in need on your behalf. Our team has been partnering with a local farm for over 10 years to complete the Qurbani in Makkah. All the meat is distributed to the underprivileged residents of Makkah. Good deeds have a special virtue when done in Makkah.
All of our animals are one or more years old. None of the animals has any defects, such as, but not limited to, missing teeth, severed tails or defective ears. Our local Makkah team handpicks the animals prior to Eid and is involved in slaughtering and supervising the whole operation.
In honor of Dhu al-Hijjah — the Month of Allah — all who honor us by entrusting their Qurbani to our team will receive two special gifts:
A free paperback copy of our forthcoming book Forty Hadiths on the Merits of the Testament ‘Lā Ilāha illā Allāh’ by Shaykh Yusuf al-Nabhani, translated by Shaykh Ahmad Derrick Peat
A unique Ottoman style certificate designed by the IGP Manuscripts Team to celebrate the completion of the 2024 Qurbani
In order to allow our team time to prepare, these gifts will only be available for those who reserve Qurbani prior to 1 Dhul Hijjah.
Frequently Asked Questions
Will my Qurbani be processed and distributed within the days of Eid?
Our farmer & processor have many years of experience processing and distributing meat during Hajj. They will ensure that all animals are processed & packaged on the day of Eid, and all meat is distributed the next day to this in need. This is also handled by team members of IGI in Saudi.
Who will receive donations of meat?
The meat from your Qurbani will be donated to the poor of Makkah and the outlying suburbs. The residents of these areas are largely emigrants & refugees, with large numbers from West & East Africa, as well as Rohingya from Burma.
How will you ensure my Qurbani is performed according to specifications?
We have a longstanding relationship with our farmers & processor through Hajj & umrah trips organized by Sara International Travel. IGI's team has personally supervised their work in the past & is confident they will fulfil their task with ihsan.
Is there any special blessing in having my Qurbani done in Makkah?
In general, actions within the haram carry special blessings & benefits. One might hope for some baraka in donating to the poor of Makkah, especially during a year when Hajj is again reduced & resources will be relatively scarce in the haram.
Can I dedicate animals for other purposes besides Qurbani, like an aqiqah or general sadaqah?
Yes! Please email us with your specific requests & we'll ensure they are fulfilled for you.

Just as we have litres, gallons and other containers to measure volume, the mudd and sa' were common units of measure used in the era of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ.
Sayyiduna Safinah رضي الله عنه narrated: "The Prophet ﷺ would perform Wudu with a Mudd, and he would perform Ghusl with a Sa." (Jami' at-Tirmidhi 56)
In modern day measurements, one mudd equates to approximately 775ml. As can be seen from the hadith above, as well as numerous very similar narrations, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to perform ablution with a mudd full of water.
Al-Mudd al-Nabawiyya allows us to see exactly how much water the Prophet ﷺ used for his wudu. We may make a habit of using this vessel of water for performing wudu ourselves, which may become a source of reward for reviving the practice of this Sunnah. The use of this vessel also helps us to not waste water, which may be an additional sources of reward.
As the mudd is a unit of measure, these vessels are not limited to ablution but can also be used for measuring things such as rice or flour. This vessel helps us to better understand the numerous Hadith that mention this measurement:
Narrated Anas bin Malik رضي الله عنه: Allah's Messenger ﷺ said, "O Allah bestow your blessings on their measures, bless their Mudd and Sa." The Prophet ﷺ meant the people of Medina. (Sahih al-Bukhari 2130)
IGI's al-Mudd al-Nabawiyya is handmade in Madinah by artisans from the Ansar al-Madinah, with profits from the sale going to support Al-Munawarah Endowment, which supports the needs of the people of the City of the Messenger ﷺ.

In the age that we live in, our days have become our nights, and our nights have become our days wherein we are continually focusing on matters of this temporary life and turning a blind eye to that which matters, such as the teachings of the best of creation, the one who uttered in a supplication: “O Allah, my Nation, my Nation!”, the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ.
This compilation is unique in that each form of prayer highlights the connection between the Messenger ﷺ and the Names and Qualities of Allah ﷻ. In addition, each form includes a unique supplication for the one reciting it. The reciter of these prayers thus finds himself engaging in the remembrance of Allah ﷻ by calling Him through His Most Sublime Names, and asking Him to send prayers and increase the honour and rank of the Messenger ﷺ. By doing this, he obtains the virtues and reward of sending prayers upon the Prophet, and also supplicates to Allah, asking Him such amazing things that we are generally unable to think of when asking of Him.
The author, Ḥabīb ʿUmar bin Ḥafīẓ, is a descendant of the Prophet Muhammad. ﷺ, and one of the great luminaries of our time. This salawat collection has been made available to English speakers for whom we ask Allah ﷻ to make it a means to attain proximity, in this life and the Hereafter, to Him ﷻ and the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ.

Selections from the Diwan of Shaykh Salih Al-Ja’fari, Volume 1 (Bilingual Edition)
The illustrious Imam and erudite scholar of al-Azhar, Shaykh Salih al-Ja'fari, authored an extraordinary amount of poetry on many subjects. The Shaykh's poems comprise twelve volumes, which grouped according to their subject matter, ranging from the remembrance and glorification of Allah, advice for the one traversing the spiritual path to Allah, exalting the excellence of the Beloved ﷺ and the Ahl al-Bayt, and the virtues of the Path’s litanies and salawat.
This book contains selected poems from the first of those twelve volumes. These selections focus on the relationship between the shaykh and murid, as well as the virtues of the spiritual path. These poems were specifically selected by Shaykh Muhammad Salih al-Ja'fari, the grandson of Shaykh Salih al-Ja'fari. The core of these selected poems, just as in the shaykh’s poetry overall, are from the genre of what is known as madih (praise poetry), in praise of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and the Ahl al-Bayt.
Regarding the methodology of his father, Shaykh 'Abd-al-Ghani al-Ja'fari said the following:
"This door of spiritual openings, which our Shaykh traveled, is a clear opening, and whoever traverses it will arrive, and whoever arrives will be connected, and whoever is connected will see and witness, and whoever has witnessed, has intimate discourse, and becomes acquainted, and whoever becomes acquainted, is guided to the Muḥammadan Reality, thus he multiplies love by love. As he ﷺ has said: 'A man is with the one he loves.'"
These poems are truly transformative, both for the one who recites them and the one who listens, and represent acceptance and invitation to the presence of the Prophet and his household.
This bilingual edition contains the original fully-vowelized Arabic text with an easy-to-read English translation directly following each line, and has been designed for use in regular gatherings of remembrance.

From the work, "Any person who has had any engagement with the topic at hand, or possesses the slightest degree of understanding, will be aware of the great esteem in which Allah Exalted holds our Prophet ﷺ. He singled him out for virtues and qualities too numerous to quantify, and any attempt to do so would exhaust tongues and pens.
We can glimpse the honouring of the Almighty for His Prophet ﷺ from that which is stated in His Book, that which He informs us of his elevated positions, and that which He praises of his character. He encourages His slaves to hold tight to the way of the Prophet ﷺ and to join him in obeying His Commands. Allah ﷻ is the One who favoured His Prophet ﷺ [above all creation], then purified him, then praised him on account of that, and finally rewarded him with the greatest reward. To Him belongs Grace in beginning and returning, and to Him belongs Praise and Gratitude in this world and the next.
He presented His Prophet ﷺ to His creation in the most complete and perfect form, and distinguished him with beautiful characteristics and a praiseworthy manner. He had a noble way and was blessed with innumerable virtues. Furthermore, Allah Exalted supported him with the ability to perform astounding miracles and deliver irrefutable signs. These were witnessed by his contemporaries and Companions and their knowledge was passed down to those who came after them, until the understanding of this reality reached us and we were overwhelmed with his light. May the abundant praise and salutations of Allah be upon our Prophet ﷺ."
Al-Shifā bi Taʿrīf Ḥuqūq al-Muṣṭafā, directly translated as, ‘The Remedy (or Cure) Through Recognizing the Rights of the Chosen One’, is one of the most celebrated works in the genre of Shamā’il. It stands uniquely amongst the works of Qāḍī ʿIyād as his most celebrated effort with many surviving manuscripts and commentaries found throughout the Islamic world. Shamā’il is a genre of works that deals with the life, characteristics, and descriptions of the Prophet ﷺ and his station.
Al-Shifā, as it is called for short, stands alone as perhaps the most thorough work in this genre, dealing with both the descriptions of the Prophet ﷺ, his station and his perfections, and with the rulings pertaining to one’s belief and treatment of him ﷺ. It is exhaustive in its treatment of the subject, expounding on topics that range from Allah’s praise of the Prophet ﷺ and his status and station before Him, to the obligation of loving him and what that entails. In short, the uniqueness of this work can be attributed to its holistic coverage of the Messenger ﷺ.
