This brief yet comprehensive work details events connected to the blessed birth of the noble Prophet ﷺ, beginning with his lineage, and followed by the description of his actual birth. It then moves into a description of Halimah al-Sa'diyyah رضي الله عنها and the intriguing events that led to her being blessed to receive the Prophet ﷺ for nursing, as well as the many blessings that manifested in her, her family, and her livestock due to his blessed presence amongst them, which all led them to the logical conclusion that this boy ﷺ was an extraordinarily blessed soul.
The text also mentions the story of when Jibril عليه السلامvisited the Prophet ﷺ whilst he was still a young boy, and washed his heart after splitting his chest. It concludes by describing the Prophet’s sublime attributes and character traits, and his beautiful outer appearance ﷺ.
Authored by the magnificent scholar Imam Abu al-Fida' 'Imad al-Din Ibn Kathir al-Dimashqi, popularly known as Imam Ibn Kathir, who is predominantly celebrated for his magnum opuses – a complete Qur’anic exegesis and a prophetic biography. Imam Ibn Kathir was born in the year 701/1301 in a village on the outskirts of Basra in Syria, passing away in 774/1373 in the bustling city of Damascus.
The immense love that Imam Ibn Kathir had for the Prophet ﷺ consistently shines brightly throughout this excellent translation. It is a short work that can be revisited often, particularly in Rabi' al-Awwal, with each perusal leaving the reader with increased love and adoration for the noble Prophet ﷺ.
Glad Tidings of Good Things (Basha’ir al-Khairat) (Abd al-Qadir al-Jilani)

This brief yet comprehensive work is a compilation of salawat by Sayyiduna ‘Abdul Qadir al-Jilani, popularly known as Basha’ir al-Khairat. It is a superlative set of thirty prayers upon the Prophet ﷺ intertwined with almost seventy verses of the Qur’an that gives hope and encouragement to twenty-seven types of Muslims.
In the introduction of this work, it is reported that the noble Shaykh said to one of his brethren in Allah (Exalted is He):
Accept these invocations of blessing [salawat] from me, for I received them by way of inspiration [ilham] from Allah (Exalted is He), then I presented them to the Prophet a. I intended to ask him about their special merit, but he answered me before I asked him, and he said to me: They have a special merit that is something too tremendous to be calculated. They raise those who adopt them to the highest degrees and cause them to reach the farthest goals. If someone seeks to achieve some purpose by them, he will not be turned away disappointed. His idea will not be frustrated, and his supplication will not be rejected. If someone recites them, even one time only, or carries them with him, Allah will grant forgiveness to him and to those who are with him in his company. When his final moment is at hand, four of the angels of mercy will be present beside him. The first will keep Satan away from him. The second will inspire him to utter the profession of faith [kalimat ashshahada]. The third will quench his thirst with a cup from the River of Abundance [al-Kawthar].
The fourth will hold in his hand a vessel of gold, filled with the fruits of the Garden of Paradise, giving him the glad tidings of a dwelling in the Garden, and saying to him: Be of good cheer, O servant of Allah! So he will look at Him and see Him with his eye, before his spirit departs. He will enter his grave with a feeling of security, happy and cheerful, and he will experience no loneliness and no confinement therein. Forty doorways of mercy will be opened for him, and the like thereof of light. When he is raised up on the Day of Resurrection, an angel will bring him good news from his right, and an angel will reassure him from his left. He will be dressed in two fine garments, and a well-bred steed will be guided to him for him to ride. He will suffer no distress and no remorse, and he will be subjected to an easy reckoning. When he passes across the Bridge of Hell, the Fire will say to him: Make a quick escape, O emancipated slave of Allah! I am forbidden to touch you. He will enter the Garden of Paradise in the company of the righteous forebears, and in the Garden he will be given forty domes of white silver. Each dome will contain a palace of gold, and in each palace there will be one hundred pavilions made of light. In each pavilion there will be a raised couch made of silk brocade, and upon each raised couch there will be a maiden, one of the houries with those lovely eyes. Her body will consist of the most fragrant perfume, as if it were the full moon of the night of his consummation. Then he will be given that which no eye has ever seen, of which no ear has ever heard, and which has never occurred to the heart of a human being.

Futuwwah and Raising Males into Sacred Manhood concisely discusses the principles within futuwwah, or spiritual chivalry, that young men should strive to embody and should inculcate into our communities. While the virtues discusses in this text are not all exclusively related to young males becoming men, this book is tailored towards males, and the specific issues faced by males as they strive to grow into the path of manhood. Just as young women need their own spaces to learn from women how to become honorable sisters, young men require their own special places to instill in them the virtues of upright brothers.
The Islamic tradition calls for a revival of organized training relating to spiritual chivalry and sacred manhood - this is the task of the hour. There are beautiful and majestic qualities embodied by the Prophet s that he passed down to his family members and pious Companions. Those upright men were methodically raised up: they undertook rites of passage, and manly responsibilities which were placed upon them with expectations that they would be executed with excellence.
This book begins by establishing the linguistic and operational definitions of the Arabic word futuwwah, translated here as "spiritual chivalry." The text then discusses the essential virtues for developing healthy manhood, in a specific order of their priority in teaching. The Qur'anic verses, Prophetic narrations, and sayings of pious Companions and scholars on the subject of futuwwah are related with sound meaning, accompanied by meticulous citations in footnotes and endnotes.

Concerning Divine Wisdom in the Creation of Man is a selected translation and commentary of Imam al-Ghazali's treatise on the human anatomy and physiology. In it, al-Ghazali masterfully provides the seeker of religious knowledge a window into Allah’s creativity through the Islamic study of anatomy.
The study of anatomy for the Muslim serves as a potential means to fulfill two distinct goals:
To increase one’s attachment to the Creator through a deeper appreciation of the details of His creation
Or to become a professional with knowledge of diseases and cures
The broad audience of medical students, physicians, healthcare professionals, as well as non-medical seekers of religious knowledge will appreciate the details of human anatomy described by Imam al-Ghazali through an Islamic lens. Readers will also recognize that this discussion, though accurate from the perspective of modern medicine, reflects a distinctly different paradigm from that of modern anatomy and physiology.
Imam al-Ghazali asserts that there is a spiritual component to the human being, and that every detail of human anatomy is representative of Allah's qudra, His power, and His wisdom. In this text, al-Ghazali describes these spiritual purposes alongside the physical anatomy, with the same level of clarity and precision.
This edition includes Dr. Kamran Riaz's meticulous English translation side-by-side with al-Ghazali's original Arabic text. The translation is followed by over 150 endnotes from Dr. Riaz and Shaykh Mohammed Amin Kholwadia.

The ‘Nasim’ is a collection of litanies and supplications compiled by Sayyid ‘Abd al-Qadir ibn ‘Abd Allah ibn ‘Ali ibn Shihab al-Din, a student of Habib ‘Umar bin Hafiz. These litanies have been traditionally recited in Tarim, Yemen, some for over 1000 years, as part of the congregation of the Khatm of the Qur’an.
With this publication of the Nasim, these powerful and ancient supplications are made available throughout the Muslim world. It is hoped that this publication will allow you, your family, and your community to connect with the blessed traditions of Tarim, and through them to the Prophet ﷺ and his family رضي الله عنهم. It is further hoped that this bilingual edition with transliteration will facilitate such a connection, regardless of whether the reader is well-versed in the Arabic language.

The Plea for the Fulfilment of Filial Piety (Du'a Birr al-Walidayn) of Ibn Abi'l-Hubb Al-Hadrami
Introductory material and footnotes
In an attempt to unlock the rich eloquence of our master Zayn al-‘Abidin, Sayyid ‘Abd al-Qadir has provided explanatory footnotes that have been retained for the reader of the Arabic text. As for rendering it into English, it was chosen to translate the meanings of the supplications with the aim of keeping the English reader engaged in addressing Allah.
In his foreword, Habib Umar bin Hafiz says,
“Part of connecting oneself to the Truth and to His Messenger is to venerate the noble Qur’an. It (venerating it) is also a cause of increase in the light of faith and certainty, and of purifying the heart of impurities, so that one’s affair and worth may increase before the Most Merciful. Part of venerating the Qur’an, then, is to recite it with excellence, contemplate its meanings and act upon its contents. Also part of venerating it is to cherish its completion, to gather for its completion, and to mark its completion with supplication, humble entreaty and prayer.”
This edition of the Nasim is dedicated to the memory of those killed in the massacre at the mosques of Christchurch, New Zealand. The publishers ask Allah that this work be a gift for the souls of the martyrs and their families.

Every year we facilitate on behalf of our reading community their Qurbani for Eid. It's a unique annual service we do in the spirit of serving our loyal readership.
1 whole goat or sheep will be dedicated in Makkah and distributed to those in need on your behalf. Our team has been partnering with a local farm for over 10 years to complete the Qurbani in Makkah. All the meat is distributed to the underprivileged residents of Makkah. Good deeds have a special virtue when done in Makkah.
All of our animals are one or more years old. None of the animals has any defects, such as, but not limited to, missing teeth, severed tails or defective ears. Our local Makkah team handpicks the animals prior to Eid and is involved in slaughtering and supervising the whole operation.
In honor of Dhu al-Hijjah — the Month of Allah — all who honor us by entrusting their Qurbani to our team will receive two special gifts:
A free paperback copy of our forthcoming book Forty Hadiths on the Merits of the Testament ‘Lā Ilāha illā Allāh’ by Shaykh Yusuf al-Nabhani, translated by Shaykh Ahmad Derrick Peat
A unique Ottoman style certificate designed by the IGP Manuscripts Team to celebrate the completion of the 2024 Qurbani
In order to allow our team time to prepare, these gifts will only be available for those who reserve Qurbani prior to 1 Dhul Hijjah.
Frequently Asked Questions
Will my Qurbani be processed and distributed within the days of Eid?
Our farmer & processor have many years of experience processing and distributing meat during Hajj. They will ensure that all animals are processed & packaged on the day of Eid, and all meat is distributed the next day to this in need. This is also handled by team members of IGI in Saudi.
Who will receive donations of meat?
The meat from your Qurbani will be donated to the poor of Makkah and the outlying suburbs. The residents of these areas are largely emigrants & refugees, with large numbers from West & East Africa, as well as Rohingya from Burma.
How will you ensure my Qurbani is performed according to specifications?
We have a longstanding relationship with our farmers & processor through Hajj & umrah trips organized by Sara International Travel. IGI's team has personally supervised their work in the past & is confident they will fulfil their task with ihsan.
Is there any special blessing in having my Qurbani done in Makkah?
In general, actions within the haram carry special blessings & benefits. One might hope for some baraka in donating to the poor of Makkah, especially during a year when Hajj is again reduced & resources will be relatively scarce in the haram.
Can I dedicate animals for other purposes besides Qurbani, like an aqiqah or general sadaqah?
Yes! Please email us with your specific requests & we'll ensure they are fulfilled for you.
Known in Arabic simply as the Arba'in, "The Forty," this is without question the most widely-known and widely-read small compilation of Prophetic hadith. Across the world, from the east to the west, Imam al-Nawawi's collection is often the first, and sometimes the only Hadith text many Muslims study in their lives.
Each hadith in this collection and serves as a foundational proof text in at least one area of the Islamic sciences. Being of such importance, these Hadith are also incredibly dense in meaning; one of Allah's gifts to His Prophet ﷺ was the ability to convey volumes in only a few words, and the Hadith of the Arba'in are among the best examples of this.
IGI's edition of al-Nawawi's Arba'in includes:
New translation of each Hadith
Succinct gems to ponder the significance and major themes of each Hadith
This is a beautiful edition that is easy and pleasurable to read, that you will return to again and again, and that we hope will live on your shelf for many years to come.

This text is a collection of approximately 400 unique salawat composed by Shaykh Salih al-Ja'fari. Similar to the famousDala'il al-Khayratof Imam al-Jazuli, the text is arranged into seven chapters, with one chapter for each day of the week. However, rather than a collection of traditional salawat like theDala’il, the Salawat of Shaykh Salih al-Ja'fari is an original text reflecting the knowledge, insight, and outpourings of the Shaykh.
This new bilingual edition contains an English transliteration and translation of each salawat with voweled Arabic text, to allow English-speaking readers to better understand the meanings of these extraordinary prayers. The foreword to this edition is also in English.
Shaykh Salih al-Ja’fari was a master of the sacred sciences, and one of the most respected scholars of the Ahl al-Sunnah w'al Jama'at of his generation. However, although he served as Imam of al-Azhar for many years, he is perhaps better known in the West today as one of the the foremost Arabic poets of the past century. These salawat are extremely beautiful, and the reader cannot help but notice their extreme beauty and eloquence. Even those who read Arabic at a beginner-level will benefit, while those who read and speak Arabic fluently will perceive many subtleties of the text’s language, composition, and meanings.
Throughout Egypt, Sudan, east Africa, southeast Asia, and elsewhere, thousands of people recite each day's portion of the Salawat of Shaykh Salih al-Ja'fari consistently. These salawat have continued to become ever more widely known and more beloved in the years since the Shaykh death, may God have mercy on him. It's possible to imagine that, in time, the Salawat of Shaykh Salih al-Ja'fari may become as famous and widely known as Imam al-Jazuli's collection.
Those who intend to read the salawat regularly or daily may consider purchasing the beautiful leather PU illuminated edition, the compact and durablepocket editionof this text as well. The leather PU + pocket editions are also available as a bundlehere.
