Imām Ibn Abī Jamrah, a distinguished Andalusian scholar, meticulously selected key ḥadīths from the extensive corpus, streamlining it into an accessible format without compromising authenticity or depth.
When Ibn Abī Jamrah observed a declining enthusiasm in preserving the chains of transmission, he resolved to compile an abridged collection. His goal was to produce a concise work, easy to memorize and rich in practical benefits. Consequently, he carefully selected nearly three hundred essential ḥadīths from Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhārī.
