The Intense Need for Dawah, Books, & Teaching in the Philippines
Imam Ghazali Publishing is bringing its flagship intensive learning program to the Philippines for the first time. Over several in-person weekend intensives, a team of English-speaking scholars from our team will travel to teach the IGP Essentials curriculum, a structured reading and study journey through six foundational Islamic texts covering hadith, aqeedah, seerah, shamail, tasawwuf, and tafsir. Each visit is organized as a weekend intensive, working through the texts page by page with students who have never had this kind of access before.
The Philippines has a deep and long relationship with Islam, one that colonialism fractured and left without its institutional supports. The Muslims there today are hungry for knowledge and eager to study, but many lack a consistent, structured, English-medium program that can take them from the beginning of their learning journey to a place of genuine literacy in the deen. The IGP Essentials Program was built for exactly this situation. It has served communities in Mexico, Colombia, Guyana, Trinidad, and beyond. Now it is coming to Southeast Asia.
Each spot will cover the cost of the book and all costs needed for the weekend for one student. Fifty spots are available for the first course in the Philippines. Every spot filled is a student who will sit with a qualified scholar, study a sacred text from cover to cover, and walk away with something that will serve them for the rest of their life.
Each Spot You Cover Will
- $30 will buy one student's full participation in a weekend intensive, including their book and all class materials.
- Five visits are planned across the Philippines, each hosting up to 50 students in structured, curriculum-based study.
- Scholars from the US and UK will teach six foundational texts covering hadith, aqeedah, seerah, tasawwuf, and tafsir.
- The program builds on IGP's proven model, already implemented successfully in Mexico, Colombia, Guyana, and Trinidad.
