IGP Musalla & Zawiyah: Community Learning & Reading Space (No Gift)

With Allah’s permission, we are opening a community Musalla, Zawiyah, Classroom and Event Space near our international HQ in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. It will be a place of prayer, dhikr, and sacred learning, with classrooms and a reading space for all.

We intend to open this space of knowledge within 40 Days. InshaAllah. 

We need a little help and invite you to purchase a dedication as a special sadaqah. Your name, or that of a loved one, will be inscribed on our public Dedication Plaque. By Allah’s generosity, every prayer offered, every page read, every Hadith recited, and every lesson taught in this space will add to your reward.

The IGP Zawiyah, Musalla, and Community Learning Space is a sanctuary for worship and dedicated space for sacred knowledge. At its heart is a small community Musalla and zawiyah, a place of dhikr and remembrance of Allah, for quiet prayer, devotional circles, and gatherings. Surrounding it is a welcoming learning environment designed for circles of ʿilm, readings, and community study conducted with adab and reverence.

• • Community Musalla and Zawiyah: A serene prayer space that functions as a zawiyah with regular dhikr, Qur'an recitation, and remembrance of Allah, anchoring our space in worship and service.

  • Event Space for Ilm: An open area for lectures, book readings, hadith recitals, and community programs rooted in love of the Prophet ﷺ and respect for the sacred tradition. Space will be able to accomodate approx 150-175 people. 

  • Classrooms: Purpose-built rooms for students of knowledge, suitable for structured study, short courses, and small seminars.

    • Classrooms will be able to accommodate approx. 50 students.

  • Open Reading Area: Shelves of books available for free on-site reading, encouraging daily engagement with beneficial texts.

Across the Islamic world, zawiyahs and small houses of prayer have long been the heart of community life. They are places where faith is renewed through remembrance, where seekers gather to learn, and where hospitality and service bind people together. We aspire for this Musalla and Zawiyah to carry that living tradition in our city, nurturing an environment of worship, learning, and care.

Our aim is to foster a culture of sacred learning that is accessible, welcoming, and rooted in service. The Musalla and its classrooms are intended for regular study circles, guest scholars, and community initiatives. The reading area and knowledge commons ensure that anyone can sit, read, remember Allah, and benefit without barriers. All are welcome to attend, learn, and contribute to a space that honors prayer, knowledge, and the shared pursuit of goodness.

Musalla & Zawiyah: $3000 (≈60 Dedications)

Classrooms: $1500 (≈30 Dedications) 

Reading area: $500 (≈10 Dedications)

Event space: $1500 (≈30 Dedications)
