This weekend in Kuala Lumpur, as part of our Southeast Asia dawah initiative, we are hosting a free hadith intensive for over 150 students. The teacher is our very own Shaykh Shams Tameez, one of the translators here at IGP, and he will be teaching the work of his own teacher, our beloved Habib Umar bin Hafiz: his hadith collection Mukhtar al-Hadith al-Sharif, which we recently published as Healing the Spiritually Sick.
The course itself is free. What we want to make sure of is that every student who walks in can get the blessed Hadith book with no questions asked. No awkwardness. Just take it.

The count starts now, and every copy goes straight into a student's hands.
The goal is 50 copies of Habib Umar's hadith collection, gifted to these students. They are coming from all over the region, and with 50 gift copies in hand, every person in that room can have the Habib's book open in front of them: to read from, to study from, and to write their notes directly in its margins as Shaykh Shams teaches.
